  1. I bought this item for my boyfriend as a birthday gift.It arrived on time in a big packing box. I didn’t wan to open the box because i was giving it as a gift so I wraped it and gave it to him. When we opened the box it came in the game was in a carring case that was almost see through and I was worried when we do take it to tailgate it might rip. He started to set the game up and noticed the from piece of the game was cracked. he put it back in the case and was just going to use some wood glue when he got home to secure it. When he got the game home he realized both the front pieces of the board were falling off and there was no lip for him to staple them back on. The game functions but looks unfinished now with the missing front pieces. It could be a design flaw or it could just be this one game.

  2. I tailgate. There, I said it.Living in California, I don’t own the largest car. I have things I got to get to the game. Coolers, tables, grill, you know, stuff. I have to choose what makes it into the Prius. The car is friggin full. I’d love to take a cornhole set, but there’s no way it would fit. So I bought Kan Jam as a similar game that takes up way less space. But here’s why it’s better, and I didn’t know this before owning it. When your teammate is throwing, you have to help. You have to guide the frisbee. In cornhole, you just kinda cheer and hope for the best. In Kan Jam, you can save a bad throw by your teammate, or slam it home for the points. It’s way more of a team sport.Does it seem a little expensive? Maybe, but those plastic cans hold up. They’ve been through 12 home games and are still fully functional. Will it bring you more joy than three $20 movie tickets? Abso-effing-lutely. If you’re on the fence for a yard game, get this while you research plans to build your own cornhole set.

  3. Was very sad with this product. We were very excited to take this to our tailgating parties and have some fun. The first problem is that although it is advertised with two different colored football shaped beanbags, all 8 of them were brown. That is not helpful when trying to decipher who is the winner. also, two of the footballs ripped apart after playing with this for the first time. these bean bags are meant to be tossed – that’s the object of the game – so they should not be exploding apart after normal use. very sad. wish I could find a way to get just replacement bags but I can’t figure that out yet.

  4. For some asinine reason, I developed a problem with dropping passes over the last six months. I had some good success with some UnderArmour batting gloves but I wanted to try something specific for ultimate. Tried them today and these gloves are excellent. The dorsal surface of your hand breathes wonderfully in them while the palmar side has some very excellent, tacky coating that truly assists in helping you grab the disc. Personally, I feel they make my throws much crisper as well. My forehand flick releases beautifully in these and I can really send a laser at an open cutter. For the price, superb product. I also suffer from palmar hyperhidrosis and these gloves keep my hands dry. No more errant blades with these! Highly recommended if you have issues catching a disc, excessively sweaty hands, or want to throw that KFC-style extra crispy pass. My proximal hand to distal third digit measurement is roughly 18.6 cm so I opted for a small vs a medium so that the gloves would feel like an extension of the skin. I would say my full palm extension is only about 85% of normal with the smaller size but then again you don’t catch a frisbee with your palm in the “high-five” position so I do not notice any functional restraints on the range of motion of my hands with the smaller size. Love them, will buy more if they ever quit on me.

  5. I love kanjam. I love the look of the glow version as well. The only problem is the lights turn off whenever the disk hits the can. Which makes it really annoying to turn back on and to just happen in general. One of the lights stopped working after the first game. The batteries were shifted inside and the metal plates connected causing a short and causing the light to get really hot (almost burnt my hand). I contacted kanjam for a replacement and they said they would replace the lights for me. Although I’m not really happy that this happened in the first place. I really wish I could get my 20 dollars back for the extra price I paid for the lights. Overall not worth getting just get the original version of the game. The disk is also just the glow in the dark disk with no lights and needs to be “charged” by a light for a bit to glow. Would be better if it had its own built in light source.

  6. Awesome improvement over the first night time set! The frisbee does not last long for glowing however and hopefully they will improve or update that soon to make this a 5 star! I purchased a frisbee with LED lights and that made the night time package complete. One little glitch with the lights, sometimes when the can was hit to hard they would turn off, but you can quickly turn them back on with the remotes. We had a ton of fun playing into the wee hours of the morning. (Frisbee in the picture was not included and purchased separately)

  7. I love these gloves. I have used the friction gloves (good, durable), the Mints (expensive pieces of crud that rip easily) and the Layouts and I love the Layouts. Consistent grip in all conditions. Do you have to get used to throwing while wearing them……..YES! It absolutely changes your throw. I play about 5 days a week. I have 2 sets of these and wear them every day. I wash both sets once a week. They are still tacky and work great, by far the best gloves I have ever owned.

  8. I finally gave in and bought ultimate friction gloves. These are $10 cheaper than Friction gloves and Mint gloves so I chose these, and I’m really glad I got them. This is my first winter outside of California, so my first time playing in freezing and slightly below freezing weather. I resisted getting these since I don’t want to rely on them, but they’re working quite well. For reference, I got a size XS and my hands are 6.75″ from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm, and 7.25″ circumference around my knuckles, and the XS is a tad bit big. The velcro wrists help me pull them tight enough to work for me. The grip is pretty sticky, and I’ve been able to grab things I normally wouldn’t, but my throws are still adjusting. I think my throws would probably be a little more accurate without, but I’ve also only played with them a couple times, so I’m still adjusting. In freezing cold weather, these are great just as an extra layer to help keep feeling in my hands, but they are thin and very breathable, so too far below freezing and if you add in wind, they don’t do much at all for warmth.

  9. The graphics on the board are basically a big sticker, and above the hole, it was already peeling off on one board when I first took it out of the box. Aside from the peeling, the sticker also had “air bubbles” on each board, because it was not applied properly. As for the boards themselves, they basically do work, but are very thin wood, so when the bag hits the board, the whole board really moves and shakes. Overall, I would say this is a very cheaply manufactured and low quality product with a licensed logo on it, so they can charge a lot for it because it is hard to get a similar licensed product elsewhere. If I had to do it over again, I would just buy some quality wood (plywood, 2x4s, dowel rod), build it myself, then paint it gold and black. I would not recommend purchasing this product.
