9 Gedanken zu “cuphead game xbox one

  1. Not worth the 3 year wait. A good 50% of the gear and guns, which are their big selling point, are just re skinned from the first game but less fun because you can’t customize it outside of the gear mods (which are lame). PVP is boring being only 4v4. There are so many stupid decisions that make me kinda hate Bungie.I purchased this to play with friends like many others but everyone is already getting bored. The game is so shallow and stale less than a month in. The single raid is redeeming since it’s fun and challenging. The problem is it’s all about placement and memorization of roles so I can see it getting too easy once people down it a time or two.Oh and obvious micro-transactions, I don’t care that much since it’s a common trend but I don’t like their being an in game currency that is only available if you buy it. That and it feels like a slap in the face given the lack of content everywhere else. Did I mention that most of the END GAME gear is a DIRECT COPY of D1 gear? Come on…..seriously…

  2. One of the reviewers here said code option is only for Xbox and not pc, he gave a bad review, what he didn’t realize is the code they give you works for both pc and Xbox, I just redeemed it myself on the windows 10 store myself so I can officially say this code works on pc.

  3. I don’t know what happened here. The original Destiny was a rollercoaster ride. It was a giant mystery. Even Bungie didn’t know what they had made and though it would make you mad from time to time, it had an identity unlike anything else. It was also a place to meet new friends and stay up for untold hours trying to vaporize Atheon, Aksis, Oryx some other guy with a sword and a Gjallarhorn. There were highs and lows, but by the end, it was almost all high fives.Destiny 2 feels like how mobile games are made for larger franchises where the IDEA of Destiny is still here, but the game I remember playing isn’t. I ran SIX characters over Xbox and PS4 in Destiny to max light and smashed every single raid on heroic difficulty numerous times. Not so here. While the most admirable thing about Leviathan is it at least has an identity it’s own, the raid is also just not that fun.Strikes are sidelined, but I’ll also say timed Nightfalls are often epic. The raid is weird, and occasionally interesting, but also sort of a King’s Fall 2 and not in a good way. Most of Destiny 2 consists of merely grinding Public Events to level to 265 and then you hit the first real wall. If you get to 280, you’re basically done. 305 has no advantage other than being leveled for a higher level nightfall and the „Prestige” raid. And the rewards? Gear essentially doesn’t matter. Leveling doesn’t matter. I’m trying to find out why we level or get gear at all and it’s tokens all the way down.Does it have a story? Yes. Does it make sense this time? Mostly. But so what? Titanfall 2 still owns them on this subject and so does it on the gameplay. You can complete the story in less than 5 hours. Faster even, when you do a second character. Destiny 2 may be a sequel, but it feels like an old game all too soon. I honestly don’t know what went wrong. I have played every piece of content possible in this game and though I put in some real hours, it was more than necessary to learn that there’s just not much here. The art direction is stunning at times and the mechanics still work well, but there’s something really empty and somewhat cynical about the overall design. So many quality of life improvements are gone and it feels as if, this is a sequel to Vanilla Destiny ignoring all improvements since. It was good times seeing the Vault of Glass and handling the Sword of Crota. I’ll never forget running the Brand of Immortality or carrying engine parts among dozens of angry Fallen. Seeing Gjallarhorn drop at Atheon and Fatebringer pop at Templar are burned into my memory. The ebullient cheers of me and my friends upon seeing Skolas go down or Black Spindle appear are all unforgettable. But there’s none of that here. A sigh of relief when Calus fell and that’s about it before it was routine by the third pass. For more tokens.

  4. If you like Contra, Gunstar Heroes and Metal Slug and classic 2-player side-scrolling shooting games, this one is right up your alley.Cuphead is a classic-style shooting game with an amazing art style reminiscent of Terrytoons, Fleischer cartoons and Silly Symphonies, those 1930’s delightful animated Technicolor shorts that delighted so many generations with their silly and bouncy animation.Everything about this game gives homage to old cartoons and side-scrolling shooters at the same time. The protagonists are blue and red, just like in 2-player mode in Contra and Gunstar Heroes to distinguish Player 1 and Player 2, and the first level is even a throwback to Contra’s Jungle level with a fortress-like mini-boss at the end and all. It’s a love-letter to old Nintendo and Sega and arcade players who have gone through countless lives and quarters to have a shot at the final boss. When you break it down, this is the killer app for the Xbox One. And it is proof that the small creative studios that put out simple, fun and addictive games like this are the ones that will really inherit the crown of the video game kingdom. A true masterpiece and a lot of fun! Highly recommended.

  5. This is coming from a huge gamer, someone who has played Halo since the beginning basically, so I’ve been around Bungie games for a while. I own every single halo that has been released including re-masters. Not only that I am a huge gamer, but I have played Destiny 1 more than any other game, ever. I have led raids, battled the worst kinds of people in Trials, regular crucible, and everything in between. I had a grimoire of over 5100 when I stopped playing D1. Keep that in mind too.Ok for starters, they need to change things to make it different from Destiny 1. Ok, its understandable. Not only that, they must change things to „balance“ things and make it „fair.“ For a new player to Destiny, this review won’t matter much at all. For anyone looking to get D2 after being on the fence and being a huge D1 player, I’ll go ahead and say do not get it. I myself was on the fence. I played the beta, canceled my pre-order. I then regretted a day later and RE-pre-ordered lol. I realized changes are a thing in life and are inevitable. For me being a hardcore D1 player, I was all about the grind. In this game, they have taken away the grind. They are looking to pull in more players, aiming for longevity, and expand their player base, thus roping in more victims, I mean customers. I understand that, it is Acti$ion after all. For a loyal player/ fan like myself, it is a betrayal (Halo reference intended). Of all the new changes, which I accepted, the one that is the worst is the weapons system. It used to be: Primary (white ammo), Secondary (green ammo), and Heavy (purple). Now it is: Kinetic, Elemental, and Power ammo, respectively. Not only that…. but every gun that drops IS THE SAME EXACT ROLL meaning no special things about it. No more playing and working towards getting a nice loot drop, you will get the same thing every time… this is ridiculous. You don’t need to level up your armor and weapons anymore… another way they are trying to „spoon feed“ and „hand carry“ anyone jumping in. They are then having their grand plan ahead of time with their timed released DLC to spur in more sales and keep the game alive. I have been fine with it, up until now seeing how they are doing it.I thing I am done. With this review and the game. I’ll play it on the side, logging in every once in a while, but not a focus game for me anymore.

  6. One thing i find myself consistently saying to myself is ‚I wish games were hard like when i was a kid again‘, now i dont know if that is because I was a kid and didnt know how to play games, or if they were actually challenging. However, this game is definitely a challenge. Mark my words, there is not a single boss battle where you wont die at least once. Most games are mostly levels with Boss fights at the end, this game is mostly boss fights with a little bit of levels spread in between. Thing is, these levels arent necessarily so easy either. I swear i have tried one of them at least 100 times. I know where everything is, and how it all happens, yet every single time i die. I hate that place and have cursed it on multiple occasions. And yet, its okay, i STILL love this game and consistently find myself coming back to it to try and get a little further. Another nice thing is, if you are caught up on a specific level you can skip and come back to it later. There are always at least 2 or 3 different levels you can enter at any given time.I really dont have anything to say bad about this game. It is a challenging arcade retro style side scrolling shooter. Reminds me of the days of Contra and lord knows i never beat those games. Its not even expensive compared to some games!

  7. This is not a gold subscription. Do not listen to Jason’s review. He obviously has no idea what he is talking about. Game pass only comes in 1 month for 9.99 cards a 6 months for 60. You get access to currently over 170 games and all future Microsoft first party exclusives like sea of Thieves and the new state of decay.
