If there’s one feature that sets this book apart from the others it is the level of detail.It is truly detailed in covering all of the areas you need to understand to practice search engine optimization and rank at the top of the search results.The author has tackled quite difficult topics and boiled them down to the essentials, and presents the information in a casual and conversational style so anybody can understand it.It is a very good book to own if you run a business or are trying to set up a blog.I could see it has been recently updated and it has a lot of new information that isn’t covered in some other books, such as the 2016 algorithm updates and key changes to how you need to approach link building. This was why I purchased this book in the first place.The bonus chapters on pay per click advertising and analytics are a nice touch, and are the icing on the cake as you truly have everything you need to get started marketing your business in the search engines.Don’t let this book get into the hands of your competitors. Buy this book and grow your business to the next level.

  3. This was a great refresher for me. I work in marketing, and I used to freelance as an SEO specialist. So much has changed just in the 3 years I went to school for this. And I do notice that blogs are pushing inaccurate advice both to new business owners and to people who’ve run their own companies for years but are very new to SEO. This book covers all that and then gives the most honest and realistic advice. It does get pretty technical, so if you know *nothing* about SEO or digital marketing, you may want to do some quick research on your own to make sure you know the terms being discussed and what they mean to your businesses specific needs.
